The 'plastic look' is the most common complaint about AI nudify tools. Older GAN-based systems produce skin that looks smooth, shiny, and artificial — like a rendering rather than a photograph. Nudify.im uses modern diffusion models trained on diverse datasets to produce genuinely photorealistic skin texture with natural pores, highlights, and shadows.

Realism requires the AI to understand multiple factors simultaneously: the lighting direction in the original photo, the subject's natural skin tone, how shadows fall across the body, and the subtle texture variations of real skin. Our model captures all of these, achieving approximately 85–92% realistic results on standard photos.
